Terms of Service

The licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run odogauge on devices signed in to your Google account, through Google Play. It is licensed, not sold, to you, and it may not be redistributed. The book you write belongs to you.

What is free

• Free forever: adding cars, logging every entry, the service intervals and due dates, CSV and JSON export, CSV import and JSON restore — with or without Pro.
• Your history is never held to ransom. No entry you have recorded is removed or locked behind the purchase, at any point, for any reason.

Pro

• One plan: an annual subscription that renews automatically at the end of each year, at the price Google Play shows you before you confirm. There is no monthly plan to forget about.
• Cancelling: cancel in Play (Menu › Payments & subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the year you paid for runs out, then the figures pause and the record stays.
• Prices are set in Play and may change for future years, never for the year you have already paid.
• What it opens: the figures layer — pence per mile, the MPG trend, spend by type and this year against last. Nothing else is gated.

The figures are yours, not ours — and not a schedule

Every number on the Figures page is computed on the phone from what you typed. odogauge does not know your car and is not a service schedule: the manufacturer's book is the authority on what your car actually needs, and an MOT reminder in this app is not an official record.

Backups

The log lives on this phone. Export a JSON backup before changing phone, and keep it somewhere you trust. An uninstall takes the book with it.

Refunds

Purchases are refunded under Google Play's policy, by Google. The developer cannot refund a Play payment directly.

No warranty; liability

The app is provided "as it is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loadcircle Ltd is not liable for a missed service, a missed MOT, lost data beyond what the free export could have preserved, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time; the book lives on your device and export lets you take it with you. We may withdraw the app from sale, but copies already installed keep working and your data stays yours.

Which law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
